Description

Yellow chard Lucullus is a chard variety with light green leaves and light colored petioles. Both the young leaves and the stems are eaten as stewed vegetables.

 

Sowing and cultivation method Lucullus Yellow Chard seeds

Sowing From mid-March to the end of July in situ on lines with 30 cm spacing. Thin out to 20 cm if necessary.

If only the young leaves are cut, the seed can be sown more densely. The young leaves can be harvested several times in the summer from the same Swiss chard plants.

When harvesting the leaf ribs, keep a distance of 40 x 30 cm.
